Goede maand juli voor Amerikaanse autofabrikanten

Chrysler, Ford en General Motors hebben in juli opnieuw meer auto’s verkocht in Amerika. Dit bleek vrijdag uit verkoopcijfers van de drie Amerikaanse autofabrikanten.
Chrysler verkocht afgelopen maand 20 procent meer auto’ s dan in dezelfde maand vorig jaar. In totaal ging het om 167.667 verkochte voertuigen. Chrysler sprak van de beste junimaand sinds 2005.
GM zag de verkopen in juli met 9 procent op jaarbasis stijgen tot 256.160 auto’s, de beste maand juli sinds 2007.
Ford verkocht 10 procent meer auto’s, in totaal 212.236 stuks. Daarmee was afgelopen maand de beste maand juli in acht jaar tijd.
