Franse industrie krimpt minder hard

De Franse industrie is in februari opnieuw gekrompen, maar wel iets minder hard dan in de maand ervoor. Dit bleek maandag uit cijfers van S&P Global.
De inkoopmanagersindex voor de industrie steeg van 45,0 in januari naar 45,8 afgelopen maand.
“De krimp vertraagt”, aldus econoom Tariq Kamal Chaudhry van Hamburg Commercial Bank.
Een indexstand groter dan 50 wijst op groei, terwijl minder dan 50 krimp betekent.
