De opdracht voor het Ichthy project heeft een waarde van een half miljard dollar.

SBM Offshore heeft een contract getekend voor de levering van een 'turret and mooring' systeem voor het Ichthy LNG project. Verder zal SBM ook meewerken aan de integratie van het systeem in de FPSO van Ichthy en de installatie ter plaatse. Met de opdracht is een bedrag van 500 miljoen dollar gemoeid.

De integratie en plaatsing van het systeem zal medio 2015 gebeuren, voor de kust van West-Australie. Het Ichthy project is een samenwerking tussen INPEX en Total.
